How to does secure remote management from Arula work?
With secure remote management solutions from Arula Systems, IT managers now have the ability to go beyond simple access and truly manage their network devices. In this example the IT manager:
- Creates a Tool Command Language (TCL) script using Arula's UAP-IT software environment. The command asks the target the device to send an alert to the IT manager's pager if the target service disconnects from the network.
- That command is then rolled out to the target server securely, via Arula's Dominion x1.
- Once the server has received the command, it will now use the Dominion x1 to send out the alert should it disconnect from the network.
- The IT manager then receives the page.
- The IT manager can then access the disconnected device via Dominion x1 and reboot the system.
